The home stretch! 

You're not struggling through your
push-ups and sit-ups any more. All of your training has been directed toward these final days - and it will all pay off in your proficiency tests. Having met and mastered the physical and mental challenges put before you, there is another, larger component of soldiering that you will also master: Character. self respect, discipline, integrity, loyalty and honor.

 

Congratulations soldier! You have made it. Now it is onto AIT (advanced individual training) then you are going home!

 

A Typical Day in Basic

5 a.m. - Wake up
5:30 a.m. - Physical Training
6:30 a.m. - Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - Training
Noon - Lunch
1 p.m. - Training
5 p.m. - Dinner
6 p.m. - Drill Sergeant Time
8:30 p.m. - Personal Time
9:30 - Lights Out
