Basic Combat Training (BCT)
Week 2
The
second week is marked by a continued focus on physical
training, which the Army calls PT. You'll learn new
exercises, start doing wind sprints and run even longer
distances. Marksmanship is still a priority as you learn
firing positions, range procedures, coaching, steady
hold factors and use of scorecards. Bayonets and their
associated movements will be introduced during this week
as well. Finally, you prepare for an inspection of your
troop formation.
